It was founded in 1988 by the John L. and

Helen Kellogg Foundation. The museum

was promoted by W. Keith and Janet Kellogg

as a gift for W.K. Kellogg.

 

The art gallery has difficulties attracting students to an Ink and Clay exhibition.
